【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliestomachinesusedforhighwaymaintenancewhichareattachedtoormountedoncarriervehiclesandwhicharedefinedinclause3.Directivesandstandardsforthevehiculartruckchassisaspect,termed'carriervehicle'inthisstandard,wouldbethoserelevanttothatequipment,evenwherespecificmodificationshavebeenmadetoadaptthemachinesforhighwaymaintenanceapplication.Theuseinpublicroadtrafficisgovernedbythenationalregulations.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazardsidentifiedthroughariskassessmentpertinenttohighwaymaintenancemachines,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwithsignificanthazardsassociatedwithnoiseandEMC.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheappropriatetechnicalmeasurestoeliminateorreducerisksarisingfromthesignificanthazardsassociatedwithmachineoperation,settingandadjustments,loaddischargeandroutinemaintenance.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotincluderequirementsforthecarriervehicles(e.g.trucks,tractors,constructionmachines,industrialtrucks)aswellastheirdemountablebodywork.Thesearecoveredindirectivesrelatedtotheconstructionofvehicles.Demountablebodyworksystemsarespecifiedinotherstandards.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwith:—walker-operatedanhand-heldmachines;—machinesforthemaintenanceofsportsgrounds;—machinesforagriculture,horticultureandforestry;—winter-servicemachines;—street-cleansingmachines,exceptsweepersincompliancewith3.9;—earth-movingmachinery;—pitandsewercleaningvehicles/-machines;—liftingplatforms;—refuse-collectingvehicles;—bridge-inspectionequipment;—loadingcranes;—wood-choppers(bushwoodchoppers).Amachinewhichisacombinationofseveralpartswithdifferentusesshouldconformtoallthestandardsreferringtothecorrespondingpartsofthemachine.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwiththerisksassociatedwiththeoperationofmachinesinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.ThisstandardappliestomachinesmanufacturedafterthedateofapprovalofthisstandardthroughCEN.
